We are fish killers!

The title of this entry says it all! We have had another death in the family. I am now seriously thinking of naming our first daughter Darla. She would then fit right in to the family! DANG! What did we do wrong?

In loving memory if Pollack the fish... found belly up 01-28-08.

I love it!

I hear you are held accountable for all the animals that die under your watch. I think they go by weight though, so you have another 15,000 fish before it counts as 1 murder on your hands. I wouldn't suggest getting into the horse market, that might add up a lot quicker...

Good luck with that...

It's fun to see what you guys are up to!

Hey guys! This is Marianne (Romney) Duke from BHS! I normally don't comment on people's blogs that I don't know that well, but I thought I would let you know that we had the same experience recently with our fish, and learned that you have to have an oxygen pump in the tank for them to survive. Also, there's stuff you are supposed to put in the water that makes the tap water okay for them to be in. The only fish that don't need the pump are betas. Hopefully this helps! Good luck if you try again. Also, if you happen to buy fish at Wal-Mart, make sure you lift them over the security scanner as you walk out the door. If they go through there, they will die within 24 hours. Yes, we are fish killers too!
